ABOUT THE DIGITAL DESH PLATFORM

An immersive research experience

Digital Desh is a Research Platform by NowFloats aimed at deeply understanding the inside of the internet of Bharat. Every year Digital Desh Drives transpire across India to explore the impact of digital technologies, India Stack and emerging digital trends. Most of these insights juxtapose the socio-economic and geographical diversity of India.

Since its inception in April 2014, Digital Desh has undertaken several drives across 10+ states and launched 11 reports.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Digital Desh and to honour this milestone of a decade, Digital Desh will be conducting its annual drive in the state of Bihar. Bihar is located in the Eastern part of India. It is the third-largest state by population in India and covers an area of 94,163 km² (36,357 sq mi).

Bihar has a rich history and culture dating back to ancient times. It was once a great center of learning, and many powerful empires originated from here. Bodh Gaya, in Bihar, is associated with the revered sage Buddha, as it was here that he gained enlightenment under a pipal tree.
